Welcome to Vossloh Rolling Stock!

In order to ensure your safety when visiting our plant, please observe the following rules.

Safety instructions on arrival
Park only in the visitors‘ parking bays (Besucherplätze)
The parking lots are unattended. Visitors use them at their own risk
Report to the Vossloh Rolling Stock reception

During your stay:

Wear your visitor pass so it is clearly visible
No photos or videos, not even with your mobile or cellphone!
The road traffic rules and a maximum speed of 20 km/h apply throughout the premises
Watch out for forklift truck traffic!
Rail vehicles and forklift trucks always have right of way throughout the premises
Never obstruct fire brigade accesses, entrances,exits or spaces for maneuvering vehicles
Watch out for suspended loads. Always enter buildings in the company of a Vossloh Rolling Stock employee and keep to the marked paths or aisles if there are any suspended loads. Donot enter hazardous areas!
Report any traffic accidents to Plant Security (Werkschutz), phone (Telefon 0431 20 06 99 30)
Watch out for leaves underfoot and/or uneven surfaces. Be careful not to slip or stumble

On leaving our premises:

Check out at the Vossloh Rolling Stock reception
Hand in your visitor’s badge to the plant security at the plant entrance
Safety instructions in the production shops
Wear safety glasses in all the production shops
Always wear safety shoes when outside the marked paths/aisles and during loading
Wear ear protectors (available from the dispensers) when inside the designated high noise level areas
Handle water-polluting substances with extreme care. If any such substances are discharged or leak, contain them and make an in-plant emergency call
Call this number 04 31 20 06 99 30 if any potential pollution of the soil, air or wastewater occurs
Observe the non-smoking signs
Watch out for works traffic (trucks, cars, forklift trucks, etc.) and suspended loads.
Do not touch any installations, machinery, materials or fluids unless instructed to do so
Strictly observe all warning signs and all other signs and stay within the marked areas
In some areas electric or magnetic fields may interfere with cardiac pacemakers, insulin pumps, etc.
Certain areas are monitored by video cameras
Wear a hardcap
Keep clear of laser equipment when in operation

  • Wait for any requests for additional information!

Responding to injuries:

Contact the person in charge.
First-aiders are listed on the notice boards
The escape and emergency plan indicates the location of the works medical services and the automated external defibrillators (AED)

Responding to emergencies:

Leave the building along the escape and rescue routes.
Do not use elevators in the event of fire
